Further pages of the July 2013 CoroCoro have been uncovered, and reveal that an anime feature titled Mewtwo - The Prologue To Its Awakening - (ミュウツー‐覚醒への序章‐) will air on Thursday, July 11, 2013, two days before the debut of the sixteenth movie. It will air on TV Tokyo.

This anime feature is being used to promote the movie on television. The sixteenth movie will premiere on July 13, 2013.
