Mew-themed Nintendo DS

Nintendo has announced that on July 8 it will begin selling a pastel pink Nintendo DS in honor of Mew, one of the stars of the upcoming Pokémon movie. The handheld also features silhouettes of the rare Pokémon on both the outside and inside of its case.

Preorders for this special edition handheld begin June 23 in Japan. It will retail for the standard DS price of 15,000 yen. There is no word on whether or not it will be made available outside Japan- it will only be sold at Japanese Pokémon Center stores and the online Pokémon Center retail store.
