Satoshi and Masamune faced each other in the Saiyū Conference this week. Masamune began the match with some trouble, being hesitant to battle his new friend in such an important match. In the end, Satoshi prevailed and will move on to the next stage of the tournament to battle Tetsuya in the next episode, which will not air until June 16 because of baseball being aired on TV Tokyo in Pokémon's timeslot.
