The official Pokémon Ranger Web site and Pokeani revealed information about the upcoming Nintendo DS game earlier this week. A new villainous group, Team Go-Go, and the egg from Pokémon Ranger and the Prince of the Sea: Manaphy will make appearances.
The new group, ゴーゴー団 Team Go-Go, has four leaders. Their names are ヤライ Yarai, ヨウジ Yōji, ユウキ Yūki and ミライ Mirai. The name Yūki is shared by the male protagonist of the Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald games, named Brendan in English.
In addition to the male and female protagonist characters in the game, several other Pokémon Rangers are profiled on the official site as part of the レンジャーユニオン Ranger Union. Each ranger presumably holds domain over a certain area and may have a Gym Leader-type role. These rangers are named カムリ Kamuri, エリダ Erida, ジョウ Joe, アリア Aria and ハヤテ Hayate.
